Some of the Bizarre Features of the AZ 2022 Midterm Elections

This year's midterm elections in Arizona, run by Dem Gubernatorial Candidate Katie Hobbs been inconsistent at best, and horribly corrupt to say the least. Here's a taste of my breakdown-in-progress.

There is so much to unpack here, and I am barely scratching the surface, but I’ll begin with this: How on earth can AZ Secretary of State Katie Hobbs say she beat Republican Gubernatorial Candidate Kari Lake if she admitted in a court filing on 12/20 that they haven't actually counted all of the votes from November's midterm elections?

Hobbs's lawyer Dec 20th: "the Secretary HAS STILL NOT RECEIVED FINAL RESULTS from all of the counties..."

Furthermore, how were they able to determine that Abraham Hamadeh supposedly lost the AZ Attorney General election to Democrat Kris Mayes by a mere 510 votes (and push to dismiss Hamadeh’s suit contesting the results) if they still hadn't yet received, therefore hadn't counted, every vote?!

Note, Hobbs's motion to dismiss Hamadeh’s election contest is dated 11/26, and her admission of not receiving final voting counts is dated 12/20.

It would appear she was aware, at the time of this motion, that she couldn't objectively claim he lost his election...

This insanity is seemingly relentless and never-ending.

Hamadeh’s suit was dismissed 11/29 based on Hobbs's motion claiming the election contest was "premature" because the "challenged candidate has to be declared elected" first by her... yet the SoS site STILL only shows UNOFFICIAL election results!

If you follow the link at the top of the SoS's UNOFFICIAL results page, it takes you to the Ballot Progress page which shows 100% of ballots were tabulated as of 12/2…even though Hobbs claimed on 12/20 that she “still has not received final results from all of the counties.”

Judge Thomason granted Hobbs's motion to continue, postponing the hearing to 12/29 based on her 12/20 claim of not yet having all counties' final results.

The recount was conducted by rerunning some paper ballots, from 3 contested races, through the voting machines again.

Insane.

Board Canvass—must be 6-20 days after election

Hobbs Canvass—must be 4th Monday after election,

Recount—must be done if triggered by narrow margin Canvass; can trigger hand count

Hand count—must begin within 24hrs of polls closing on election day BEFORE ”

The name "hand count audit" is misleading! As shown with Yuma County, law only requires the "audit" of 1% of early ballots cast (363 of 36,368), from 2 of 8 polling places, only counting ballots in 'up to four races'; then simply compares hand count tabulations to machine count tabulations.

Some counties, like La Paz, Apache, and Graham, claimed they were unable to do hand count audits because of an apparent lack of participation from one, or in the case of Graham—any at all, representatives of the political parties on the ballot…therefore, no hand count audit was performed at all in these counties.

Unlike Santa Cruz (shown below), most counties that participated in the hand count audit, had incredibly perfect tabulations with ZERO total differences between the canvasses and hand counts…unbelievable, eh?

Only ONE county even hand counted/audited the governors race, and some only did hand counts of as little as two polling places or three races. It would be laughable how messed up Arizona's election-running is if it wasn’t the future of the country at stake.
