Abortion Bans, Restrictions, and Limitless Accessibility in America
Kamala Harris is putting out false information about the legalities of abortion in the United States, so I put this information together to show what's truly going on with abortion in America.
Since Kamala Harris is putting out false information about the legalities of abortion in the United States, I figured I'd put this information together to show what's truly going on with abortion in our nation.
She falsely stated in her post on X, "First, he got Roe overturned. Then, he got abortion banned in 20 states. Now he’s voting for an abortion ban in the state where he lives. If elected, he’ll sign a nationwide abortion ban if it crosses his desk."
First of all, in the video in her post, Trump says he thinks 6 weeks is not enough time, so I don't know how she reached the conclusion that Trump would "sign a nationwide abortion ban." It logically doesn't make any sense.
Secondly, HE did not get abortion banned in 20 states because a) it's not banned in 20 states, and b) because the states made their own legislation regarding abortion and Trump had nothing to do with their decisions.
Logically, states with more pro-life constituents will end up with stricter, more pro-life legislation. States with more pro-abortion constituents will end up with looser, more pro-abortion legislation.
Hence Red states like Texas, Tennessee, Alabama, etc., end up with stricter abortion bans. Bluer states like California, Illinois, Hawaii, etc., end up with looser restrictions on abortion. Finally, the most Blue states like Colorado, New Jersey, New Mexico, etc., end up with zero restrictions on abortion until birth.
They need to stop fear-mongering the promiscuous women who want zero accountability for their actions. Birth control is available for free and it comes in many types to prevent pregnancy in the first place! You don't even have to remember to take it at the same time each day anymore! There's so many varieties of birth control to chose from, some that can be combined for even more pregnancy prevention [such as the pill and condoms], there’s shots, implants, IUDs, spermicide, condoms, diaphragms, the pill and the morning after pill, and more.
I honestly don't know why so many abortions are necessary when pregnancy prevention is widely available to folks of any economic circumstances, unless they're using abortion as their only form of birth control.

NO LIMIT means you can be in labor and decide you don't want to keep your FULLY DEVELOPED BABY and abort it. Don't forget when Virginia's ex-Governor Northam explained infanticide "abortions" where the infant would be delivered, and they'd make the baby "comfortable" before allowing it to die.
“If a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen," Northam said. "The infant would be delivered, the infant would be kept comfortable, the infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired. And then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother."
There is no longer the desire for abortion to be "legal, safe, and rare" but instead for it to be accessible to all at all times. However, the route to abortions being rare once again depends primarily on a societal commitment to helping women be more successful at preventing unintended pregnancies via abstinence, birth control, less promiscuity, and proper aid in family planning.
