Dismantling A Facebook Discussion About Vaccines
Here's the breakdown of my dismantling of a crappy argument meant to make Republicans look like science and medicine denying jackasses.
The following series of screenshots make up, by far, the longest comment I've ever written on Facebook. I simply couldn't believe what a propagandized middle finger of a run-on statement this guy made on the post shown below, and it is so full of inaccuracies, all to make "Republican Party supporters" out to be full-blown "medical and scientific deniers," and I simply couldn't let that fly. So, don't take it personally, Freddy—it's not YOU, it's what you said. Sorry, not sorry.
Anyhoo, I thought y'all nerds like out there may be able to learn more about refuting, and overall dismantling, nonsensical and demeaning bullcrap like this. I took it piece by piece and shut each false statement down as they came. Not for him, because he won't read it, but for any naïve, open minded folk who may stumble upon his incredible claims and wonder if there's truth to them. Hint: there is not.
Oh, and then at the very end, I just put my little meme I made showing Senator Rand Paul's achievements and accomplishments as a genuine medical doctor vs DOCTOR JILL'S education doctorates and Ibram X Kendi's PhD in African American Studies and how they insist on being called "doctor". So, that's what that is.
The following images are his response and our brief discussion...for educational purposes 😉
He didn’t chat for very long, ending after I responded to his inquiry regarding our assumed “hatred” for Moderna and Pfizer, and his false statements surrounding Fauci. I hope y’all found this helpful in learning how to meticulously dismantle an argument that has less than a leg to stand on.
